Appartement Balcon d'Huez ★
Self catering flat for 3, I guess as there were only three chairs round table. It was comfy for 2 would suit family of 3 with small child. Nice view from balcony. Warm with plenty of blankets. Took our own sheets and towels and loo roll. No kettle, but plenty of pots and pans if you wanted to cook. End of season so building was quiet and situated away from nightlife but within walking distance. Shops and restaurants within 400 m.
Apartment in good location 2 minute walk from the lift that takes you to Berges and up the mountain. It is sold as for 4 people but while 4 can sleep it will be difficult to find place for all to keep their luggage. The apartment has pretty much everything you need (plates, cutlery, glasses, pan, etc) but you need to get all supplies (washing up liquid, toilet paper, rubbish bags, etc) The pillows and blanket were never washed I suppose and kept from one guest to another, which is not very nice. Cleaning is not perfect either but decent. The boiler would not last for more than 2 people having shower in a row. Overall it was not a luxury holidays and we knew what we were getting. After many stays in Alpe d'hues I can say that as pretty much all apartments are almost the same... if you not staying in a hotel..
